I make my living with my pickup. 12 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $185
• Labor charges: $20
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $35
• Towing and inspection: $10

so sorry you're going through this, Opio. Hope this works out for you. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
