I make my living with my pickup. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $200 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $100 • Labor charges: $25 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $30 • Towing and inspection: $45 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • How is Anand doing now?

    • sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 16 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.

          • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Anand!

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. fuel pump replacement (parts) comes first ($100) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Happy to explain more.
