My food truck: Mariko's only way to earn a living
Without my food truck Mariko can't work; a $1,250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 10 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $860
• Labor charges: $100
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $190
• Towing and inspection: $100
Thank you for reading my story.

how is Mariko doing now?
Rooting for you, Mariko. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Quetta but we're thinking of you. God bless.
