I make my living with my delivery van. 12 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • Towing and inspection: $15 • Labor charges: $25 • fuel pump replacement (parts): $160 Thank you for reading my story.

  • Sending good thoughts. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

Towing and inspection is $15 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
