Musyoka needs my ride-share car repaired to get back to work in Dar es Salaam
Without my ride-share car Musyoka can't work; a $250 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 3 children. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• transmission replacement (parts): $125
• Labor charges: $55
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $30
• Towing and inspection: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
