Mobility fund: stair-climbing aid for Rodrigo in São Paulo
Help Rodrigo get a stair-climbing aid so He can attend work interviews.
🇧🇷 São Paulo, Brazil992 views
Rodrigo lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the São Paulo Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,700.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Rodrigo could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $2,500
• Fitting and training sessions: $105
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $75
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
