Citlali lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Palmira Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,250.
Her current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Citlali could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
