Mazen's final semester of a computer science degree in Heliopolis

Mazen is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at Heliopolis Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has said Mazen can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mazen has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mazen would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Mazen isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $900 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Outstanding tuition balance: $440 • Final term tuition: $440 Thank you so much.
