Mahesh is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

New Delhi
Mahesh was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at New Delhi Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Mahesh is 37, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to New Delhi Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $250 goes: • Transport to New Delhi Cancer Centre: $75 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $75 • Scans and lab work: $100 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Nisha
