Lucky was diagnosed with stomach cancer in April. The oncology team at Abuja Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Lucky is 30, worked as a tailor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Abuja Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,350 goes: • Transport to Abuja Cancer Centre: $180 • Household costs while unable to work: $155 • Scans and lab work: $230 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $785 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Uche
