Liliana needs clippers, chairs and mirrors to reopen a barbershop
A barbershop in Ciudad de México needs help replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors after the demolition of the market.
🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico590 views
For four years I have run a barbershop in Ciudad de México. In April, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $450 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $115
• Working capital for the first month: $150
• Initial stock: supplies: $185
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hang in there, Liliana. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Ciudad de México.
