Let's build a youth football pitch together in Grand Rapids
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $4,100 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Acacia bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $4,100.
It will serve about 143 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $4,100 goes:
• Materials: $3,250
• Tools hire and delivery: $620
• Permits and inspections: $230
