Let's build a youth football pitch together in Belfast
Volunteers in Belfast are raising $800 for a youth football pitch at the Unity community hall.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $800.
It will serve about 88 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $800 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $145
• Permits and inspections: $100
• Tools hire and delivery: $555
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending strength, Anita. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Eugene this morning. Take care.
Keep going. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Belfast.
