Let's build a solar-powered water pump together in Kilkenny
Volunteers in Kilkenny are raising $1,350 for a solar-powered water pump at Cedar Park.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,350.
It will serve about 178 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $115
• Materials: $920
• Safety equipment and signage: $315
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
