Let's build a sensory garden for children with autism together in Amsterdam
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $2,200 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,200.
It will serve about 274 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $190
• Materials: $1,700
• Permits and inspections: $310
