Let's build a free library and reading room together in Puebla
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $1,200 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 21 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Lotus Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,200.
It will serve about 579 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Materials: $850
• Permits and inspections: $60
• Safety equipment and signage: $150
• Tools hire and delivery: $140
I hope life is good to you.

Shared it with a few friends. After 27 years in nursing I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
Sending good thoughts, Ignacio. Hope you get there.
Take care, Ignacio. This could happen to any of us.
