Let's build a covered market stall space together in Giza
A community-led a covered market stall space at the Pioneer community hall that will serve 486 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $210, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 486 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $450
• Permits and inspections: $25
• Safety equipment and signage: $20
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Sending love. More neighborhoods should do this. All the best
