Lemlem is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Bahir Dar Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Lemlem can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lemlem has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lemlem would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Lemlem isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Bahir Dar Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.         Sure. The biggest one is outstanding tuition balance, $390. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
