I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Augsburg Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a warehouse packer to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $5,100.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Augsburg Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $5,100 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,600
• Final term tuition: $2,000
• Exam and lab fees: $145
• Textbooks and materials: $355
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care, Lea. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like!
Hope it all works out, Lea. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
