After a hip fracture that never healed properly, Oana was cleared for laparoscopic cyst removal, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Oana was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in February. The surgeon at București General Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and She is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,800, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $3,050 short. my wife has been in and out of București General Hospital since February. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,800 is more than we can find. While we wait, Oana struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. The recovery period is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Oana won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing. I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section. Where the $3,050 goes: • Hospital stay (4 nights): $1,200 • Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,350 • Travel and lodging for the family: $105 • Pre-operative tests and imaging: $200 • Physiotherapy sessions: $195 Thanks for reading all this.
