Landslide in New Delhi: help the Millbrook district rebuild
The landslide damaged 64 homes in the Millbrook district. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The landslide hit the Millbrook district on 27 July. My home was one of 64 damaged, and 10 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $470
• Clean water and purification supplies: $115
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $80
• Food parcels for displaced families: $330
• Tools and labor for repairs: $105
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Mehul?
Thank you. If you're in New Delhi I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up.
You're not alone, Mehul. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings.
Wishing you the best, Mehul. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update
