Kelechi's final semester of an accounting degree in Lagos
Kelechi has worked and saved for three years to study an accounting degree; a $650 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Kelechi is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Lagos State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has said Kelechi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kelechi has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kelechi would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Kelechi isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Lagos State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $650 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $15
• Outstanding tuition balance: $240
• Final term tuition: $395
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
