Keep the water on at Birtukan's home in Bahir Dar
Birtukan is behind on water bills after losing my job in August and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The water account is 3 months behind. Birtukan received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $100 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in August.
Birtukan called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which isn't available.
The household includes two young children, and going through winter without water isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
Birtukan is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
