Keep the gas on at Shawn's home in Houston
Help Shawn cover an overdue gas bill so the household stays safe this the rainy season.

The gas account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $450. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $170 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Shawn's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $450 goes:
• Gas arrears: $210
• Reconnection and late fees: $110
• Down payment on a payment plan: $130
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
