Keep the electricity on at Zlata's home in Saint Petersburg

Help Zlata cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. Zlata received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless $250 is paid. She had never been late before losing my job in August. Zlata called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which isn't available. The household includes two young children, and going through the cold months without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. Zlata is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Zlata's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $250 goes: • Heating arrears: $105 • Reconnection and late fees: $55 • Down payment on a payment plan: $90 Thank you so much. - Galina
