Keep the electricity and water on at Terry's home in Brisbane
Terry is behind on electricity and water bills after a reduction in hours and needs $450 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless I pay $450. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $60 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through the rainy season without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Terry's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $450 goes:
• Electricity arrears: $220
• Reconnection and late fees: $140
• Down payment on a payment plan: $90

stay strong, Terry. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best!
So sorry you're going through this, Terry. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
Keep going, Terry. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Sent it to 13 people at work. Greetings from Lagos.
Sending strength, Terry. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Praying for you. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Brisbane
