Keep the electricity and water on at Galina's home in Kyiv

Galina is behind on electricity and water bills after a reduction in hours and needs $200 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $200. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have. I live with an elderly mother, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $200 goes: • Water arrears: $95 • Reconnection and late fees: $20 • Down payment on a payment plan: $85 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
