Help Ziad through 8 rounds of treatment for stomach cancer
8 rounds of treatment are planned at 6th of October City Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Ziad was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at 6th of October City Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Ziad is 50, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to 6th of October City Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $195
• Transport to 6th of October City Regional Medical Center: $150
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,055
Thanks for reading all this.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Ziad?
Thank you. If you're in 6th of October City I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Appreciate you taking the time.
Best of luck, Fadi. Your post was clear and honest. I'll check back for the next update.
Sending strength. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Rennes
Rooting for you, Fadi. Wishing Ziad a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Take care
