Tiago was diagnosed with stomach cancer in November. The oncology team at Londrina Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Tiago is 33, worked as a construction supervisor until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Londrina Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $2,050 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $370 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,350 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $130 • Scans and lab work: $200 I hope life is good to you. - Gabriel

  • is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Tiago

    • Household costs while unable to work is $370 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks for looking so closely.

  • Best of luck, Gabriel. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from San Jose
