Help Subramanian restart a barbershop in Pune after floodwater
Subramanian has run a barbershop for fifteen years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $650 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a barbershop in Pune. In May, floodwater took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $480
• Initial stock: supplies: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $25
• Working capital for the first month: $50
Every share and every dollar helps.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Subramanian.
Sure. The biggest one is replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors, $480. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
