Slamet is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Slamet was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in April. The oncology team at the Malang Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Slamet is 42, worked as a bank teller until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Malang Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $140
• Household costs while unable to work: $270
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $140
