Help Rosa through 6 rounds of treatment for colon cancer

Rosa is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Rosa was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. The oncology team at the Fresno Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Rosa is 38, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Fresno Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $11,050 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $9,000 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $830 • Scans and lab work: $1,220 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
