Ravi was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May. The oncology team at the Chennai Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Ravi is 52, worked as a shop owner until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Chennai Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,100 goes: • Transport to the Chennai Oncology Institute: $85 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $570 • Scans and lab work: $150 • Household costs while unable to work: $295 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Neelam
