Ramesh was diagnosed with stomach cancer in November. The oncology team at Dwarka Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Ramesh is 46, worked as a bank teller until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dwarka Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $270
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,045

Is transport to Dwarka Cancer Centre the biggest cost or is there more coming?
Transport to Dwarka Cancer Centre is $135 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Appreciate you taking the time.
