Okta was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at the Medan Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Okta is 43, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Medan Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
