Nimra was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in March. The oncology team at Abbottabad Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Nimra is 34, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Abbottabad Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,050 goes: • Transport to Abbottabad Cancer Centre: $65 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $770 • Household costs while unable to work: $175 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $40 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
