Mukesh was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August. The oncology team at Noida Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Mukesh is 36, worked as a taxi driver until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Noida Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
