Lovely was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. The oncology team at Caloocan University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Lovely is 53, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Caloocan University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,300
• Transport to Caloocan University Hospital: $155
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $70
• Scans and lab work: $175
