Help Liton pay for valve repair surgery at Saint Elizabeth Hospital
A scheduled valve repair surgery in August is out of reach without help covering $500 of the cost.

Liton was diagnosed with a cleft palate needing repair in June. The surgeon at Saint Elizabeth Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,000, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $500 short.
my brother has been in and out of Saint Elizabeth Hospital since June. The doctors say a cleft palate needing repair will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Liton struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Liton won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $500 goes:
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $280
• Travel and lodging for the family: $65
• Physiotherapy sessions: $65
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $40
• Post-operative medication: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
