Help Lilian get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
Lilian served eight years in the marines; $400 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.

I served eight years in the marines and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $400.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $400 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $35
• Training provider fees: $195
• Housing deposit and first month: $170
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

You're not alone, Lilian. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Biratnagar donated after I showed her your page
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Galway this morning. Love from Galway.
Sending strength, Lilian. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Rooting for you, Lilian. Hope this works out for you. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
