Lester was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in July. The oncology team at Cebu City Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Lester is 28, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cebu City Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,900 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $300 • Transport to Cebu City Cancer Centre: $210 • Scans and lab work: $120 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,270 Thank you so much. - Ryan
