Leandro is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at São Paulo Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,000. The registrar has said Leandro can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Leandro has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Leandro would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Leandro isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $1,000 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $35 • Exam and lab fees: $25 • Final term tuition: $940 Thank you so much. - Priscila
