Help Landon restart a laundry service in Warren after floodwater
A laundry service in Warren needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after floodwater.
🇺🇸 Warren, Michigan, United States522 views
For three years I have run a laundry service in Warren. In August, floodwater took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $660
• Shop repairs and licensing: $320
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $1,270
Thanks for reading all this.

Sending strength, Landon. Hope you get there. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless
Take care, Landon. I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Warren
Good luck, Landon. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. Love from Bangkok.
