Kehinde is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Kehinde was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in July. The oncology team at Lagos Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Kehinde is 45, worked as a hairdresser until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lagos Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $450 goes: • Scans and lab work: $210 • Transport to Lagos Cancer Centre: $55 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $75 • Household costs while unable to work: $110 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
