Help Jorge through 6 rounds of treatment for prostate cancer
Jorge is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Jorge was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September. The oncology team at Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Jorge is 49, worked as a tailor until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $175
• Household costs while unable to work: $320
• Transport to Buenos Aires Regional Medical Center: $170
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,285
