Jorge is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Jorge was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in December. The oncology team at the Uberlândia Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Jorge is 48, worked as a primary school teacher until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Uberlândia Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
