Jordan was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in September. The surgeon at Los Angeles General Hospital recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $14,000, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $8,400 short.
my son has been in and out of Los Angeles General Hospital since September. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $14,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jordan struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
