Help Janet through 8 rounds of treatment for kidney cancer
8 rounds of treatment are planned at Mbale University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Janet was diagnosed with kidney cancer in November. The oncology team at Mbale University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in January. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Janet is 39, worked as a hairdresser until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mbale University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $590
• Scans and lab work: $135
• Transport to Mbale University Hospital: $140
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100
• Household costs while unable to work: $185
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you, Daniel. Hope you get there. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Bakersfield.
