Iqra was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in December. The oncology team at Rawalpindi University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Iqra is 35, worked as a nurse until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Rawalpindi University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,250 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $930 • Household costs while unable to work: $150 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65 • Transport to Rawalpindi University Hospital: $105 Thanks for being kind about this.
