Help Dinesh through 10 rounds of treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia
10 rounds of treatment are planned at the Saket Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Dinesh was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in November. The oncology team at the Saket Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Dinesh is 34, worked as a construction supervisor until November, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Saket Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150
• Scans and lab work: $200
• Transport to the Saket Oncology Institute: $145
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45
• Household costs while unable to work: $160
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Keep going, Divya. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best
look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I'm in construction myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.

Hang in there. Wishing Dinesh a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Take care.
thinking of you. I hope things turn around soon. After 17 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Guarulhos
Hope it all works out, Divya. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Entebbe.
Wishing you the best. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Kadıköy so I could bring a meal. Take care.

Thanks for sharing this, Divya. This could happen to any of us. I hope January is when things finally get easier.
